The Scientific Committee of MAC 2010 invites you to submit abstracts for poster presentation. All abstracts must be submitted in English.
Presenting authors are responsible for all costs related to travel and attendance at the conference.

Guidelines
- Abstracts must contain original material, not published or presented at any other international meeting prior to the 8th International Conference on Mechanisms of Anesthesia. Only abstracts in English will be accepted.
- All abstracts for the 8th International Conference on Mechanisms of Anesthesia must be submitted on-line through the Abstract Management System.
- Before submitting your abstract, please read through the guidelines below. Incorrectly prepared abstracts will not be considered for presentation. You may correct your abstract via the website until May 27, 2010. Please retain your assigned password as a reference for future communication.
- Abstracts will be accepted in English.
- Abstracts must not exceed 250 words.
- Presentation format is for a poster presentation.
- Abstract submissions will include the following information:a. Goals and Objectives
b. Methods
c. Results
d. Discussion and Conclusions
- Deadline for submission of abstracts is May 27, 2010.
- Receipt of abstracts will be acknowledged by email to the submitting author only.
- Each abstract will be reviewed by members of the Scientific Program Committee. A limited number of abstracts will be selected by the Committee for presentation.
- Acceptance of abstracts will be advised to the submitting author by March 31, 2010. This notification of acceptance will be sent by email.
- Personal computers and laptops are not permitted; all presenters will use the Congress equipment provided. Microsoft PowerPoint presentations must be on either a USB key / flash drive or CD (compact disc).
- Presenting authors are advised that they are responsible for all costs relating to travel and attendance at this meeting and may require a visitor’s visa to enter Canada.Visitors require a valid passport, and many require a visitor’s visa. For information on visa requirements and exemptions please check with the nearest Canadian Embassy, High Commission or Consulate.For further information please go to: www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp and click on the section “Visit” from the menu on the left. Attendees from the USA may check entry / exit requirements to Canada outlined in the U.S. Department of State Consular Information Sheet. Proof of citizenship must be provided.
